How we are Building a Robotics Program Ecosystem Valleywide...

Feb 23, 2016 We are kick-starting the FIRST Robotics program in the RGV. FIRST - For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology - Is a WorldWide Robotics program that goes beyond the technical skills and stresses real-life education to help in the student's success in STEM career paths. What makes the program attractive is that is mimics a major sporting competition while still maintaining strong coopetition and gracious professionalism values. Bringing it to the RGV is allowing local students to be a part of a really cool STEM ecosystem where they get to participate on a hands-on project-based world-wide program.
